Been looking for a 1998-2002 Camaro w/ 6 Speed trans
Not interested in Firebirds or Trans Ams

I've been searching for a few weeks now with no luck so I figured I'd post here

Post up or send me a PM if you know of one for sale
The cheaper the better

:beerchug:

Trying to avoid that but if summer comes and one hasn't popped up yet I might have to.
Need a MPG getter and something for WWDC

Find one within 8-10 hours away and make a weekend trip. It's worth it as there aren't as many late model enthusiasts down there as there are here so the demand isn't so bad to drive the prices up. It's worth it, plus you likely won't end up with any rust on the car either. :)

I clocked 31 hwy with my vette when it was stock, 2.73 auto. People always talk about how much power the LSxs make and forget the phenomenal fuel economy, esp on the early LS1 cars.

There's been a few nice ones come over here over the years. I know I've drooled at the thought of owning another after seeing a few on here. Hell, even that white and orange LT1 almost convinced me! Can't remember who's it was, but that one was an auto too.

Good luck on your search!

There are always clean ones popping up on Craigslist and Autotrader in Indiana. I'd start there.

Yup, our's back in the day. The Z-28 was a T56 w/3.42's and went 13.25@108 with a muffler on stock GSC's. The TA was an auto with 3.23's stock and went 13.3@105, both were 2000's. Man do I miss those cars!

Lol yeah back in the day! the new mustangs spank the new camaros bad!!

Ya new cars cost too much... we are talking older cars, ones that I can afford... lol

$35k for a new mustang vs. $6-8k 98-02 Camaro for relatively the same performance,
Throw a cam in it... or just a gear and whoop brand new mustangs all day sounds like a better route...
