Long shot: Looking for a place that actually has snowblowers in stock

For 15 years my neighbor has been been clearing my driveway. They decided to move this winter. I'm done shoveling. Does anyone know of a place that actually has snowblowers in stock? I'm looking for a two stage aroun 24-28 inches wide. I work in Novi and live just north of Clarkston, so somewhere around those areas would be great.

Thanks
Ken

Thanks everyone. Home Depot pretty much laughed at me last night. Lowe's is out, but said they may be able to order one.

Matt, I am headed to Weingartz today. They have one in stock, but it's more than I need/want. I may end up with it though.

I have tried Craigslist, but I am finding a lot of sketchy ads. I forgot to mention, that is has to have electric start and it MUST start if I'm not home and my wife has to use it.

If you've waited this long why not wait for the off-season discounts?

Because my driveway is a mess, and I have the in-laws coming in to town to watch the kid and house for a week. I don't need my in-laws busting their butt to clear the driveway with a shovel and slipping and falling.

They have a lawn a d garden place at joy and Inkster, I think it's called Westland lawn and snow. Also try the smaller hardware stores like ace or aco. There also wrights hardware in Livonia, they had a few out front when I drove by.

yea. Don't want to ruin your rep with the in laws to think you're a lazy bum who can't clear his driveway. Lol.

I buy mine online. Lowes a g Home Depot sell the same models with underpowered motors.

My Troy built at lowes has the 178cc motor, I bought the same model, a 24" duel stage off of the Troy built web site and it has the 208cc motor option. that is the bigger motor lowes has on the 26" ones. It was the same prices too. That 24" with the 208cc motor is a beast! It throws snow pretty damn good.

+1

My Troy-built is a monster. That thing went through a 2' snow drift the plow left for me without even slowing down. Hell.... I can blow snow off my driveway directly into the neighbors driveway if I wanted to be a real ass.

Because if Ken spends $700 on a snowblower now it will guarantee that we don't get any more snow this winter.

I can only hope.

I stopped by the Weingartz off Grand River and they had what I was looking for. Someone had just changed their mind on a 24" Cub Cadet, so it was available. It's being assembled and setup now and I will pick it up after work.

Thanks for all the tips guys.
