Hey everybody.

I am working on something :secret: and just bought a domain name to match so i need some design help.

I need to make a Logo for Stinger Motorsport. I have several examples of things I like but have NO idea what I want, and artsy creative is not my strong suit ( :( ).
So please let your creativity run wild do not be limited by my examples.

I will give anyone who designs a Logo or theme that I choose to use $50 plus beer next time I see them.

Deadline is March 21

The cars involved in this are a 1997 Thunderbird and a 2011 Mustang GT so if you need pics of either I have what you need (for the silhouette lines etc.)

No references to bees or wasp or any creature that stings!!

This logo needs to work on the website AND shirts AND decals for the cars (please keep that in mind) Unless you want to make a full logo and a lite logo. AKA how the Motown logo looks on the site but the stickers are more simple.

here are examples of what I like. (One thing to keep in mind is I HATE CURSIVE WRITING on logos). I love the font in the fantastic racing one.

sure then i just shrink it as needed!

Color I have no clue, what ever you think would look best.

if this is to be printed on signs and such it will need to be in vector form. 1200x1200 at 300dpi(normal printing resolution) is only 4in X 4in. Thats probably big enough for a car sticker though so it depends on his needs. Ive dealt with a lot of printing companies to know that i don't make logos unless in vector form or you have to pay the printing company to remake it in vector.

ill see if i get a chance to create something for ya.
 
you want to incorporate anything in it having to do with stingers? like a bee or something?

ok i was thinking that you didnt but everytime i see the name and try to come up with something all i see is a bumble bee LOL. is it Stinger Motorsports with an 's' or without the 's' like you have it?

without please. Your a Tbird guy too arent you I think I have seen your name on TCCoA a few times.
 
Someone take this, make it into something useable (clean it up and make it in some computer format that can be used rather than a sketch, pick some decent readable font for the letters outside of the big M) and if it wins you can have the money and I'll make Shaun buy me a beer.

My rejects. Story behind the rejects. I look at Stinger motorsports and identify SM, brain takes that into S&M, leads to slogan Whipping the Competition (has been rejected by Shaun), sketches insued anyway.
First, the real idea similar to above but with the SM to get the whipping slogan in

Next, playing on the whipping slogan a little bit with something simple

Last, over the line terrible worthlessness played off the whipping slogan. I'm not good at people but it isn't really terrible, I think the point was portrayed.

Sell Dana stock must have been before they went bankrupt,... I took a nice hit from that myself. Avoid using the Ford logo, that'll get you into trademark infringement,... I'd be glad to offer something, but I don't even like the logo I came up with for my website.
 
That sketch was from some notes in a meeting at work. Talking about difficulties with things, they were talking about how the bird flu could have an effect on business and that you should wash your hands frequently with Purell (note that is mostly cut off, thus buy purell stock) and yeah, it was around the time of the dana bankruptcy so that was just continuing my joking notes to keep myself awake.
