Livernois Stage 1 G8 GT goes 12.4 @ 117 mph

Today, the track finally opened and a customer of ours took his 2008 G8 GT to make some passes. It was his first time ever at the drag strip and the car has stock tires and converter and the following mods:

Livernois Motorsports CNC Valve Job (No porting)
Livernois Motorsports Stage 1 L92 Camshaft
Livernois Motorsports Dual Valve Spring Package
Livernois Motorsports DOD Delete Kit
Kooks Longtube Headers
Kooks X-Pipe w/ Cats
Kooks Catback Exhaust System
Rotofab Cold Air Intake System
U/D Pulley
Ported Intake & TB
Tuned by Livernois Motorsports

Stock it made 315 RWHP and after the mods, it made 452 RWHP.

His best 60' was 2.1 or 2.2, so with a drag radial, this car could definitely hit the 11's.

The clutch in the GXP stuck to the floor.... it did last night while trying to launch it too... sucks!

The blue one went 12.6 @ 114 mph, but it has a stock catback, unported intake & TB, and no U/D pulley. Those tires sucked!

wow that does suck. Glad to hear the other 2 g8's ran well.

The gxp's make about 415hp out of the box, It would be interesting to see what it would do after you guys are done with it..
Pretty slick looking too!

Yea I was not a happy camper lol. Waited in line for an hr or so to make a pass, car launched great at about 1200/1400 rpms, then clutch was stuck to the floor.. But hey that's my luck haha. Car is super smooth and the power comes on great throughout the entire powerband, I wouldn't be surprised to see a bottom 12 outta the car.

Yeah Dan said it was flaky, mine better not do that or I'm gonna be pissed. Stock GT's are good for bottom 14's high 13's stock.
