The only thing they would need to be concerned with is a lot of newer 5 axis machines use ceramic bearings by using the outer spindle like that isn't an issue it's actually a cool idea.

Up to 4.160. Pricing for a dry sleeved, bored, decked customer supplied block is roughly $1,500.
