Got zero ambition to go through that.
I'll attempt a bed swap, but no desire to do too much

There are some great deals on salvage cars. My grandpa has done them for years. I've purchased a few over the years and they were great cars. The last one was in 2013. With a salvage car, I don't think I'd buy one someone else put together because you don't know what parts were used or if corners were cut.

When the car above got inspected prior to getting a title, they couldn't even tell where it was damaged and the door and hood gaps were better than some on the dealership lot. :D

Depending the true reasoning why it's totalled and possibly knowing the workmanship factor a lot.

The deal has to be good.
Orange title kills the price in most people's eyes.
I saw some hack shit when I was looking for my Cadillac

Keep a list of the trucks you've looked at and little notes. When that first one is still listed for sale in another 4 weeks, lowball him. Eventually he'll get tired of the tirekickers and the BS and just want to move it. Best if his wife know's about the offer as well.:coolugh:

Agree, Ive seen a lot of junk.. that's why I'd have a hard time buying one I didn't fix or know who did it. I almost feel like I underpriced mine though. All of them sold in less than 24 hours.
