looking for some legal advice, on a small claims matter that has now moved into district court. wikdsvt still around here these days? or anyone else?

That means you need a attorney.
Small claims is if BOTH parties agree to have their dispute heard in a non formal matter (with No Attorney or professional legal help present)
If you or the other party disagrees to enter small claims, then you have to take the matter to a higher court. Judge will not let you come with out a attorney (few rare cases).

small claims = no attorneys.

District COurt = one or both sides have an attorney. you do not need an attorney to be on the regular district court docket. However, if one party asks to move the case to district court and then does not get an attorney. the court can dismiss the case.

Shoot me a PM.
