Lease Takeover 2008 Silverado 4WD 20" $357/month

I haven't used the truck functions on this thing once. I think I am going to downsize it before I get downsized. It is a 45,000 mile lease and remaining mileage averages out to about 1000 miles per month.

It is a 2008 Extended Cab Silverado 4WD 5.3 Flex Fuel with 20" Wheels (factory), remote start (factory), bed liner (GM), step bars (GM), wheel locks, Steering Wheel controls, dual zone climate control, tow package, and all the other normal stuff you get on a truck like this. It averages between 15 and 17 mpg depending on whether I do more city or more highway.

If anyone from Motown wants it I will pay the fee if GMAC approves you. You probably need pretty good credit though.

Just Turned 33,000 miles today. 11 payments left.

Bump, mileage is a hair over 14,000 but it will be getting parked for the Camaro to take over daily driving dutues soon. 25 payments left and 30,000 miles.

GMAC is not leasing them anymore, so you won't see a price anywhere near this for a two year lease.

The buyout is $20,415.80. The funny thing is that when I leased it, I almost bought it, and the retail was only $23,000 plus tax. I would imagine GMAC would be flexible on buyout price. Hell, they would probably take $20,000 for it right now.

I just called them. They have to sell it to me, and the price right now is $27,615.91. It probably drops by a set amount each month until we hit the buyout price.

I guess they figure if they lose money the gov't will cover it! I could have bought the truck for about $23,000 when it was brand new...

Contract is a contract...its locked in until the end of the lease. They fudge the numbers on the leases to make the trucks worth more in order to give you low lease payments. As soon as it gets turned back in, you can go buy it off the auction lot for prob $5k less if you want it

Bump - I am acutally glad I had it because I just moved. It has got to go though.

Sitting at 33,000 miles and 11 payments left. Probably 10 by the time the deal is done.
