Yes but thats not the problem. Spring wrap is the problem. Think of spring wrap as the wandering pinion angle. It can be your friend as well as your enemy.

Cant get no races with a ladder bar or 4 link !!!

I'm just gonna put the shocks in the coil over mount locations then.

mike i just order cal tracs and a split leaf for my s-10 last friday! i am going to run qa1 shocks with this set up! i asked the guys at cal tracs about coil overs and they said it will not work so i went with the shocks they recommended with the set up!

No tthat it applies in this situation but there are a lot of people using leaf springs with coil overs when running in circle track figure eight racing. Some of the top cars are running that setup and works very well but not sure how it would work out in a strait line only.
