DESCRIPTION:
Got Leaves? -- Troy-Bilt CSV2006 Walk-Behind Chipper/Shreader/Vac.
BODY:
Used (2004) Troy-Bilt CSV 2006 Self-Propelled Walk-Behind Yard Chipper/Shreader/Vaccum. Retails for about $850 new. Great tool for homes that get a lot of leaves in the fall or sticks to be chipped year-round. More info on this model is available at:
http://www.troybilt.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10001_14102_10109_54997_-1
It does need a new part (upper housing) for the self-propelled transmission (P/N:719-0324A <about $20>). Without it, it can be pushed manually, but I would not recommend unless you like a work-out -- especially when the bag starts to get full of leaves. It will also not you to pull it in reverse without this part at all.
It could also use a new felt bag (P/N: 964-04001), or you can just patch the old one. A new bag is about $100 from Troy-Built direct, but you may be able to find one cheaper online. Both parts can be ordered on-line from Troy-Bilt directly.
Otherwise, unit is good working order, and just needs some fresh gasoline. I have since replaced the need for this with a tow-behind leaf vac/mulcher for my riding lawn mower, and this is just taking up space in my garage.
