Lapeer dragway has a new owner

You live next to a fucking race track, shit the fuck up! It’s as bad as the people who live by airports and complain.

There is a airport on the same road just south of he track. And a state owned gun range north of the track. If people don’t like the noise then fucking move simple as that

Where was that implied?

"what activities will the racecar campers do when they can't drive on the racetrack?......"
Id say that is implying that race car guys will be doing other activities that are detrimental to the local populous. Why else even mention it?

This part of it is complete bullshit. I'm tempted to show up there with data to refute this.

Did their taxes go down 30% too? yeah its BS

I’ve never been to Lapeer. But I hope it remains open. People just want to bitch about something. Some of them even dedicate their lives to it.

The track opened in 1968 so unless you've lived in your home prior to then, quit your bitching, you know what you signed up for when you purchased your property.

Unfortunately, people are pretty clueless about things like that. Whenever I talk to someone about buying/renting a house, I always recommend that they drive down the street in the morning, afternoon, night, and weekends to see what kind of mess they are potentially getting into. It could be a quiet place M-F and look like a nightclub on Sat/Sun. Either that, or people move in with the intent of rocking the boat.

Isn't this less than a mile away??

IIRC the hours are, 'suns out, guns out.'

Dragstrip or not, it's not exactly quiet around there. Lol.
