Pics. It wasn't as easy as I thought but once it got going it went ok. Besides the punk trying to mess with us on the road going to get the flooring ....that was interesting.

Dude that looks great!! Just put tile down in my kitchen last year. I'll bet tearing out the tile was MUCH worse than laying down the new floor!

I just did that as well. But I measured wrong and I have 1/2" gaps on the wall, so I gotta get some thick molding.

Thicker trim and shoe molding will cover it. You don't want to go wall to wall on the flooring anyway.

Well I think in one spot it's pretty close to an inch, typically about 1/2" the rest of the way. It was my first attempt at doing something like that.

I thought it was laminate. I put laminate in my kitchen because after remodeling 100% of it with my Dad, I wanted something cheap and quick. We did the entire floor in about 3.5 or 4 hours.

Now that it's been in for about 13 months, I wish I would have spent more and just did tile. It's a quality floor, hasn't scratched, but with my dog slobbering after he drinks water there are a few spots by his bowls where the seems have slightly...and I mean slightly bubbled. Can't pick the finish, I'm just being picky...super super tiny spots. I guess I should have checked for that and used a towel when he was done.

I'm curious as to how it will hold up but for $600 if it doesn't I'll try something else.

That's where I'm at. If we stay long enough and it gets bad, I'll replace it.

I bought 12mm thick laminate from Lumber Liquidators. It was like $5.99 on sale for $2.99. They blew it out cause they only had 900sq ft left. I spent $2k on countertops, so I was kinda done spending money. I shoulda spent 1k on counters and then put the other 1k into the floor for ceramic tile.

Little tip: If you have a dog that slops water like mine or kids that spill stuff...get it outta the cracks ASAP. It's not flaking off...but it lightly bubbled...again...LIGHTLY.
