Keep hood black?

I really like the black hood and how it breaks up the yellow but then again The Color has grown on me... I can't decide.

How about the side of the cowl yellow and leave the rest black as is? Or maybe a nice thin yellow flame down the side of the cowl?

Does that yellow have a touch of metallic or gold pearl? It looks like my old car in the first pic

No Metallic maybe Pearl. The guy I bought it from said he has owned it for 10 years but who knows. I like the flame idea.
 
I say paint the hood yellow but paint the cowl black. Kind of like this, but extend the black all the way to the front of the hood, as well as the side of the cowl.

I bet it's my old car, I sold it about 10 or so years ago to a guy in the Livonia area. Painted it when I worked at Roush, it used to be dark blue if it's the same car.

Flame idea would look pretty sweet
 
keep it black , i had the hood on my old s-10 painted body color and regreted it ............
 
It looks super out of place to me, I would go yellow. Or do some kind of other items black too like maybe a black saleen wing or something along those lines ( whatever you would prefer )

Saleen wing? Oh hell now lol...i told him to lets paint it yellow with the cowl black on top..
 
I like it with the old yellow painted hood better than it is now. But I think satin black would also be a big improvement over the black that it is now. It would be cheap to try satin black anyway. I've always like the satin black hood look.
