Yea..
Turned left onto wildwood, and accelerated at a normal rate and it instantly jumped sideways after i was already goin about 20-25 and straight....almost felt like one of my rear tires was flat or really underinflated that way it acted..i was facing the left almost full opposite lock...into oncoming traffic..i tried to correct because application of the brakes would of kept the truck facing oncoming and a potential headon..i had the slide saved untill the passenger rear tire got the curb and it shot me back to the right...jumped over the curb and t-boned a light pole...right at the drivers door..blew out my window and the drivers back door window..both doors wouldnt open..I climbed out of my window

heres the bad news..there were 5 kids in the car...3 of mine and two of my daughters friends for her birthday sleepover...3 of them were in the thrid row behind the impact but my little guy was sitting right behind me..The intrusion on the cockpit was slightly ahead of him..i definetly took amost all of the impact which im thankfull for..
when the windows blew out he caught a piece in the forhead..he got a little cut from it but hes ok from that...but becasue of the intrusion they had to take him to motts..my wife is with him and her phone is dead...im sitting here with the baby a fuckin nervous wreck..
been crying like a sissy for hours...

Sorry to hear. I totaled my Trailblazer 2 years ago on 696 going about 65 and hit a patch of black ice. Scariest thing I've experienced in a really long time.

Really surprised I only saw 1 accident on the way home from work at 8pm.

Stay strong for the kids!

My mom MIL and wife are all there with him...and noone is returning or answering my calls...my nerves are shot and my heart is racing pounding and starting to hurt...
im really freaking out...

The first thing i did ( truck was still moving) was yelled if everyone was ok...4 girls were screaming hysterically and my little guy was crying bad...after i climbed out of the window I went to the passenger side and asked them one by one..are you hurt, are you bleeding...kept repeating calm down its ok..your not hurt.. i know your scared but its ok..itll be ok..wifey got my little guy out with blood pouring down his face and grabbed a paper towel and put pressure on it..i saw her taking care of him so thats when i concentrated on the girls..all i remeber saying to them was are you hurt..itll be ok..
ahhhh fml..i fell guilty as hell for not being the one hurt...

They called about 10 minutes ago...they are on the way home..they put a bit of bio glue on his head,, no concussion...
so now that i had a chance to calm down a bit, my back and side are starting to hurt quite bad actually

Start taking some aspirin/Aleve as you'll be sore for the next few weeks. If you haven't been checked out by a doctor, do so.

Glad you and the kids are ok! Cars can be replaced, people can't.

Sent from my fingertips using Tapatalk.

your auto insurance will take car of vehicle and your injuries... just as long as the kids are okay.

At least you weren't driving a smart car.

sorry to hear, glad everyone was OK.

try not to dwell on what COULD have happened. you did what you where supposed to do and got the truck out of the way of oncoming traffic. things could have been much worse had you not. you did the right thing and everyone is home and in their beds tonight.

Sorry to hear, glad everyone is OK. Try not to beat yourself up to bad. From the what you wrote happened it was an accident. Unfortunately accidents happen.

I'm glad that everyone is ok.....for the most part....everyone is still sleeping...I woke up a litle bit ago really sore....I'm glad we were in a big truck....we broker the utility pole almost in half.....
Gonna take some pictures of the scene and truck today.....

So glad everybody is OK!!

Gotta love those big, body-on-frame behemoths.

Take care of the important stuff and let insurance take care of the rest.

Like others have said, thankfully nobody was seriously injured. The vehicle can be replaced, when there are children involved it is always refreshing to know they are okay. It is called an accident for a reason, they happen. Be sure to follow up with your Dr. and note any pains or aches, that stuff can come back to haunt you down the road.

Scary stuff man, at least you all walked away from the accident. Bummer about the totaled vehicle but sounds like it did what it was supposed to when getting hit.
