Hey, i'm over in GR and there isn't much V8 love on xceed lol, any other Corvette guys here?
 
thanks guys, i haven't had the car long (late april this year), i'm not used to the minor gains made with bolt ons so i'm not sure what direction i want to go.

it's a 1LT 08 MN6 which i've tuned with predator and a wideband (mainly to get rid of torque management and keep the tips from getting black every time i floor the damn thing)

but, it appears without a blower i won't be making any significant power gains... so i'm considering going that route :)

welcome to the site and nice car! a full exhaust, a cam and some ported or aftermarket heads will do a LOT to wake the car up!

I know it'll take at least a 228/232 mild-ish cam to "wake up" the topend combined with mods (and we're not sneezing at nearly 500whp with that setup), but, ANY loss of drivability is not an option for me, if I can't comfortably cruise @ 900-1000rpm i'm not interested... maybe intake/headers are worth a try since i'll need them anyway... BUT, if I do some 1 3/4's right now then decide on a blower later, i'll be stuck swapping to 1 7/8's which some say is O.K. now, others say they're too large even for a 376ci engine

will be nice to see what happens with weiland/fast on a intake manifold, been considering a ported tbody too as they're so cheap and seem to make 10whp any way you slice it
