Just picked up another project

I just picked up another project car. Hopefully I can figure the electrical so I can get it running. Anyone good with LS1 Electrical. Car needs some work but should be fun. Here are a couple pics.

I got it from a guy named Matt. He owned it for a couple years.

The car is wired with a painless wiring kit, but is the 98 LS1 setup, the guy has a 99 computer for it but said some things need to be changed befor I can use the computer from the 99. There is no mass air and was told this setup can be tuned to run without it????
 
Nice car the previous owner wanted 2 trade me for the capri but I'm not big on foriegn cars looks llike a cool project he said he had a lot of cash in the car
 
Thanks, I am going to start finishing things up and then hopefully I can get some one to help finish the wiring and see who can tune it.

Yes, without a mass air sensor the car will run in speed density mode. I have my car running that way. There are some drawbacks of running the pre-2001 computer in SD unless you run a custom OS to make use of both VE and spark tables.

just a couple wires moved at the pcm if i remember correctly. not hard
 
JD could get it working for you also. He has a similar project in the garage right now, but it should be done soon.
 
Car looks nice...I'd like to find one of those as well, stock turbo engine would be fine as well...
