why wouldnt he just get a 4.0 out of a junkyard? The trans is the same isnt it? Pull the pan before he puts it in and check the oil pump pickup because they have a reaccuring plugging problem. Those engines will run forever.

different trans's and different wiriing harnesses. i thought about that on my jeep. everything in the jeep is new trans,paint,interior. my cousin reedid the whole thing even put a new motor in it in 2000 and it only has about 25k on it but somehow the #2 piston took a shit and tore up the #2 cylinder pretty bad. the motor was bored out 60 over before he put it in so it cant be bored anymore. so new engine it is...

Yep its on Ford Rd. The towing company i use to work for did alot of work for them....There's one in waterford too. RIGHT on M-59
