Jeep Cherokee sales for the past 10 years...

The GC was weird, it wasn't really that good of an off-roader and it wasn't that nice and luxurious.

The regular Cherokee is a beast though.

I wish they would bring the boxy looking Cherokee back. I recently bought a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport and love it.

I thought the WJ's did decent off road. Just my opinion, though.

I totally agree!

I do like the new gen Grand Cherokee a lot though.

x2, I dont think Ill ever sell mine either. I actually want to rebuild it this summer, toss in a stroker and go through the trans...then drive it for another 200k miles

Last week I told my daughter who turns 10 in May, that when she is 16 she can have my Jeep. She looked at me funny like I was nuts :undecided

I dont think I will get rid of mine either. Not one spec of rust and thing seems bullet proof. Mine is a 98 Xj Limited with 115K now
My only complaint is I do get sick of the rough ride on a long haul though.

I know I was with a couple guys on here at K2K and they had Pass Times on the tube....remember when that GC pulled up and ran a 10 second pass?? :roll:

The new ones are supposed start getting built May 10th

Boxy looking jeep = Commander or Liberty. In fact I still don't know why they didn't just name the Commander the Cherokee Classic.

Neither are as capable as the XJ. The XJ is timeless. Nothing compares.

I guess I should have been more specific. It's not just the looks...

I really liked my Grand Cherokees.

I had 5 of them.

1994 Limited 4.0
1995 Limited 4.0 - Had the awesome pillow top interior. It was like driving a Lay-Z-Boy :lol:
1997 Laredo 4.0
1998 Limited 5.9 - This truck was a blast to drive!
2001 Limited 4.7
