Is this a Chevy, or a not so disguised Jeep?

This has the M plate, but the Equinox logo is usually on the passenger side and the tail lights look like those of a Jeep. So is it a Jeep? It also says "Premier" on the lower side of the hatch near the AWD logo.

There was a Jeep right behind it with similar tail lights is why I asked.

Yeah. To me this thing looks kinda like a combination of a Subaru and a Hyundai. I've driven several of the new GM vehicles and they seem like good cars but kinda boring...uninspired. (not talking about the 'vette).

Here is the reason: As China becomes a bigger and bigger player, you see the Asian market influence in all the styling. Especially cars like the Cruze, which are sold around the world in pretty much the exact same form.

That's understandable and they obviously do their research, but I wouldn't buy one based on the looks. I had a 2013, and thought it was a good looking car, but the new one is fugly.

You can definitely see the Asian influence. I think the bigger problem is that it needs the LTG 2.0 Turbo! That would be an awesome ride with that.
