intake manifold

Block the holes don't loop the hoses. if you loop the hoses you will bypass the radiator cuasing all sorts of cooling issues.

circled and numbered 2 is the disconnected pipe.
circled and labeled 1 is the broken intake manifold nipple.
its to short to hook hose 2 to it.
so i capped it, and hose 2 doesn't leak when the car is running....
will the heat core be harmed if i keep the heat off?
will this throw anything else off?

They make cooling system bypass caps. Me I prefer a piece of heater hose with a properly sized bolt jammed in it. Seems to hold up better.
