I will be in Waterford coming up in a couple weeks for a bowling tournament.

we bowl at Waterford lanes, and century lanes. I will be there Friday night-sunday afternoon.

normally we just find a bar, and walk in with our giant group. (we go with 100+ people all the same weekend. probably 40 or so go to the same bars together)

the problem this time is, I don't know of anything around the area that will be fun, I know of a few restaurants and stuff, but nothing where 40 drunks can go and get loud and have a good time.

so what are some decent bars in the area, we'll say within a 15 minute drive/cab ride.

thanks in advance.

From Waterford Lanes, Sharks Club is straight up Hospital Road to M-59. Irish Tavern is fun too but a group of 40 might be pushing it.

If you want to get into a fight, this place is a given to have a brawl.

we probably shouldn't go there then, a few of the boys like to get into a discussion or two.

we have a few bars around here like that, and we tend to avoid them for that reason lol

Shark Club is a big space with lots of beer choices. Overtime on Dixie Hwy I'd big.

Yup, those 3 would be my votes. The IT (Irish Tavern) could fit your 40 ppl but only if they are not already busy. It is a nice place though. Our band used to play there and we would pack it in. Sharks Club would definitely have plenty of space for you and pool tables, etc to play. Overtime also has decent space and other things to do like pool and games as well.

thanks for the info guys!

normally we end up at the bars with a band playing. which one of these has the best chance of that happening?

A little bit south in Commerce is "On the Dunes" bar. Only been there once, but the place is big enough for a 40 person group. They got golf simulator things, cornhole games, and sand volleyball courts that are probably closed this time of year.

that sounds pretty cool.
You can try the "Raccoon King" on Dixie Highway.
No cover for Girls with Teeth.
lmao sounds like some of the joints around our neck of the woods!
