Just got the call at work! I'm fucking pumped right now! I do need to get a few things done first. I want to have my Tahoe to get a full exterior detail job. I'm talking wheeled out, clay barred, waxed, whatever.

I also have two options for a photoshoot. I can A) Drive to CA for photos. B) Have a photographer fly out and take pics at a location of my choice. I'd much rather do the second of the two. The guy I talked to on the phone said if I would like to pick a location, I would need several pictures and possibly multiple locations. Any ideas? Keep in mind this is a Tahoe with a Duramax sitting on 22's. A fucking two-track doesn't work.

Who here works for magazine? Stinger? I have a few questions for them if thats the case.

I can help with the exterior detailing part! PM with any questions.

And Congrats! Thats definetly awesome.

Congrats. I'll be sure to keep my eye out for it in the mag! I really wanna see this thing in person sometime.
As far as location goes, I know it's kinda played out, but the old train station and/or the eastern market area would make cool backdrops. For some reason, old architecture always seems to make for cool photos.

What about your dad's dealer? Shoot on the service floor with a bunch of F-series trucks on the lifts! Might have to replace some signs with Chevy or Diesel World banners but it would be cool in my mind.

Congrats! We need more pics of this thing.

As for detailing, if 00sonolow doesn't do it, contact SS4Matt or Mutt Grunt here. Both do awesome work.

any pictures of your truck just to get an idea? sounds pretty bad ass! one of my ex's dad is a diesel mechanic and his wife has a 3/4 ton 'burban that will be getting a dmax when the 6.0 goes out the door

This is the only picture that I have access to while at work. The 1500 emblem on the doors is gone, has stock tails on but they are tinted (paint, not covers), and the exhaust tips are probably coming off. They are fake anyways. The 4" exhaust actually dumps out and points towards the ground just after the rear end.

Will any detail shops also detail the underbody? It's super clean already but I'm sure there is some stuff under there that could be touched up.

Thanks! I won't be on the cover but I will have a 3-5page spread in the magazine. I haven't been given an exact issue yet, but the editor I talked to said it will probably be January or Feb.

I like the idea of the dealership! That's different than the old warehouses you always see. I will have to check it out with them. Could get my F-250 on the lift or the background too!  Could have my Diesel Tahoe and F-250 on 37's in the same article!
