Ideas on a paint job.

ok I'm new here, some people know me from baycityrides.com or MiFbody.com.

I need some new input.
I'm painting my car.
I have to leave it the stock color (on part of the car top/bottom), because of the motor compartment. Too much work to pull the motor. If I do that......well thats a different topic LOL!!

My Brother in law owns his own shop, And is set up with a Matrix painting system.....so I can do pretty much anything. Because he can mix anything.

So my thoughts are just leave it the stock color.
But I would like to be different, one of a kind type of thing.
I was thinking some striped down the side, or maybe a 2 tone color.

My car is lowered now with sportline springs.
What does everyone think?
Stripes down the sides? Stock color with a pearl to it? Two tone? Or just paint it the stock color and leave it alone?

glad that you posted about the springs. I was going to say that it needed them more than a paint job.

thx for the replies people.
I already spent the $300.00 for a new fiberglass rear spoiler. Getting rid of the heavy rubber one.
I just need it to warm up to I can take all the ground effects off, and start sanding away.
It will take a good week to get all done.
The cars 20 years old this year......I want it to be a show car. I love going to car shows.

Thanks for the input so far! I've just been thinking about this for EVER....trying to deside what to paint it.
I know I will black out the side marker lights when I paint it.
