On February 29th I stared the process to cancel my flood insurance with hartford insurance.
By March 15th Hartford insurance had all necessary paperwork and told me they would review it for approval(.The originally had the wrong Mortgage company on my policy and that took two weeks to fix)
.
On April 1st I called to check on the process and was told everything was in good order and it would be sent to a supervisor for approval and be mailed out.
On April 14th I called and was told it was never sent to a supervisor for approval but they would get it to their supervisor that day and would be mailed out Tuesday or Thursday since those are the days checks are sent.
Finally today April 22nd I once again called and it had not been approved. I was transferred to someone(A supervisor I assume) who finally approved it but told me I wont be receiving the refund for 10-12 business days.
Having to call three times over the course of 22 days just to get someone to approve a refund is ridiculous, I was blatantly lied to multiple times that it would be immediately sent to a supervisor for approval.
Just wanted to let you guys know my experience in case ever decide to do business with them and I also needed to vent alittle.
