at home... the pops has a stick, mig, and tig welder so ive just been doing some random shit around there right now getting decent at the mig before i learn how to tig... need to get a new helmet asap tho

Those look nice! I used to be 6g certified in Tig stainless an mild steel pipe. Hardest part is gettin the inside good enough to pass. I will miss Tig welding for sure thanks to a recent motorcycle accident leaving my left arm disabled thanks to a torn brachial plexus. You should see the southern boys walk the cup on pipe. Shit they can do it while drinking coffee lol.

If your gonna get into it look for a nxt gen auto darkening lens or get a speed glas helmet well worth the money IMO ultra light and very comfortable

I got a miller "black" auto helmet I paid 175 for it 3 years ago an didn't like the color while welding. It has a green tint to it. I like a natural color lens. I used that miller helmet for about 6 months an went back to my old plain Jane Jackson, but hey u ever come to port Huron pm me I'll give it to u for free. It just sits on my wall collecting dust lol an Ill never use it again, mind as well pass it on to someone who can.
