some of oyu already know this but i put my two week notice in at Saleen to go work for a place that does show cars for gm and some jap companies. better pay with more hours = bye bye with saleen. not to mention Steve Saleen does not believe in paying his painters top dollar for the job they do. his S7 painters in california make about 12 per hour and that is a lil less then what i made up here and they are painting a $750,000 car. so on friday the 13th i walk out of saleens building for the last time.

Congrats on the new job. Steve Saleen screwed one of my friends out of some money in the mid 90's, so I won't buy any of his stuff :)
 
no the name of the place is Trakon customs. the manager has been trying to get me there for the past year and he has now started talking the right amount of money. i guess from people that i have talked to is that the place has its ups and downs but the way i am looking at it is that even if it is only for six or seven months(since i still do have my goal of leaving the business for good) i cant pass up the money.

I read this to say that you make less than $12/hour for painting $750k cars? You can make comparable money at Burger King. Screw that guy.

Ya, I heard he doesnt pay shit. I dont know how anyone could survive to be honest. I heard the assemblers make like $8hr, LMFAO. ya ok, maybe if you are 15 living at home.

that's crazy. i work for a company that does leather for saleen and we make more then that. good luck with the new job.

well dont go work for saleen cuz there isnt a painter in that place making 20 and hour anymore. there was only a couple and they got fired cuz they thought their shit didnt stink and they couldnt do my job during the GT project. not saying i am the best painter cuz i am NOT AT ALL but i do know what i am doing. steve seems to be your typical boss who wants everything for nothing.
 
He's too fucking busy paying all those dermatologists bills for his daughters fucked up face to give a crap about anyone...
