God, what a waste of time and money. College is just big business. Had a horrible professor for an accounting class, and had to drop it. I hate when this happens. What a waste.

Espcecially at this point, because you can't get a refund. Sorry to hear, man. I had to do that once and at $650/cr hr it hurt my pocket pretty bad.

Yeah I usually always check that, this guy was the only one teaching the class and had not tooo terrible of a rating, but he was horrible. He told me it takes students 3 times to pass his accounting class sometimes.

I hate to say this, but you just gotta deal with it. I have had so many shitty professors(I'm serious, if you think yours are bad then you have no idea) I just don't go to class and bust my ass and teach it all to myself.

Just thinking about accounting brings back nightmares
 
i had to drop my accounting class i had last semester cause the teacher was a cunt....that was a waste of some coin there! same thing she said "most people have to take my class twice" i told her i'de find a good teacher and take it once

You can verify this though? I mean by being in the class long enough to see for yourself? I've had teachers tell me some crazy shit the first week and once a few people dropped the class they would say they were just getting rid of the ones who didn't care.

But I've also had to retake a class or seven :dontknow: :icon_mrgr
 
I have had a few bad ones. Just toughed it out. We even got one professor forced into retirement due to our end of semester reviews. Luckily most of those professors have everyone doing bad so they grade on a curve which will usually get you a passing grade. Only way I got through a lot of undergrad classes.
 
ratemyprofessor has saved my ass many times. I'm in my 3rd year in college and thanks to that site I've had one bad teacher. Actually, now that I say that my one bad prof. was my first semester and it was preplanned for me coming into the program.

No, I dropped this class, no way in hell I am going to risk this one with only 1 quiz and test left, which I would have to get a high A (95 or 100) just to pass. The college I am in requires that you have a C in order to pass, and only about 20 people in the class has a C or above. The guy was horrible and only gave 2 tests, a hand full of 7 question quizes, and a trivial attendence grade.

I am taking another professor next semester, I am also in talks with the Dean and Chair.

Just pissed about the cash....
