MSD stopped making the crank trigger dist. but i found one new in the box. Livernois had the bronze gear in stock and pressed it on this morning. thanks guys!

The nice thing about not having it is if the trigger fails you can switch and use the dizzy.

I do like it though.

Is the cooling sorted out?

no, not really. i responeded to that post. but was 200 and climbing on weds night. and it was cool out. ordered a CSR neck and will use a 160 stat and see happens. if not, ill be pulling it all apart anyway, ridings needs the trans, valvetrain updates.

Hmm I will read the other post later. How far are you from me. I am at 14 and schoenherr.

i just updated the cooling issue one again. after a couple fixes, same deal..

your almost in another world, compared to where i live!!!

Explain the routing of everything in the cooling system.

160 stat, -16 line to inline rad cap adapter, -16 out to the top of the radiator, double pass rad, enters top drivers side, flows past a manual relief valve, push in style, exits bottom drivers side -16 to aerospace pump mounted a few inches above the lower outlet of the radiator. -12's out of the pump to the water inlets on the block.

-4 of the inline radiator cap adapter to the bottom of the water tank in the trunk.

I'm going to add a surge tank. -6 from the intake water neck bypass to the top of a surge tank and another -6 to the bottom of the radiator, right next to where the pump pulls water from. The tank will also have a radiator cap.

Maybe I can delete the inline radiator cap adapter?

Do you have a coolant pressure tester that you could put on it to see how much pressure is in the system ? Also, where is the sensor ay in the system ?

I tested it before, held 15/16 for 20mins or so.
The bigstuff sensor is drivers side, front of intake, autometer mech is connected to passeger side front of intake
