I just made a substantial payment on my Credit card (debt from law school) and it arrived 1 day late due to the holiday and they charge me a $40.00 late fee.

(I haven't used this CC since February 2006)

so I call up and the customer service Pee-on said there was nothing he could do. I talk to the the Lyndsey, the cumster service manager and she offers to take 1/2 off. I politely ask why, when my payment about a year ago was late and they removed the entire late fee. she said well it was received late by 1 day and I'm doing you a favor. I tell her i accept the 1/2 off, but I need something in writing that previously I received a a 100% removal and now I'm receiving 50% removal. she asked why. I told her i was an attorney and like everything documented.
The bitch hung up on me.

what the FUCK has happened to customer service?

Call back and ask for upper management... Or write a letter...

Lasalle pissed me off the other day I tried to use there atm it asked if I wanted spanish befor american why is that even a option. I thought about changing over to them till I seen that when all banks do that I will go to Lasalle though they seem pretty good.
