I am looking to buy a camcorder.. any suggestions?

So my son is about to turn 3 and we finally are sick of using our digital camera to take video's of our son.

I haven't used a video camera since 1994 so I don't even know where to start.

Any suggestions?
 
I was just at Best Buy 2 weeks ago and they had a nice selection of many different brands and sizes. Some cam corders were the same size as their digital cameras.
 
i recently purchased a JVC everio 60gig unit. i love it its small,light weight, and super easy to use. NOBOOST has the same one but a 30gig i think. You can also buy a dvd burner that plugs right in to the camera. I think the 60gig is $500+ but i was shopping around and i found mine for $369 and i jumped on it! All in all its a great budget hard drive camera.
