I know this may not be a big deal to most racers, but I finally got a decent number out of my car today @ Milan's test and tune.

I learned a lot from Joe Wheeler, who was kind enough to take the time to run my car himself (yes, even in the pink!). He taught me how to get out of the box and make a clean run. He also was able to clarify a couple of issues I was having with the car itself. Thanks sooo much Joe!!

So, today was my 10th & 11th pass on the 427 sbc and I ran 10.53 at 135mph. I am thrilled with this since I didn't think I would even come close to it at all before summers end.

Joe ran it and did 10.01 at 137! We have to change some things, but buy the end of the racing season I am hoping to be in the mid 9's somewhere.

it has some mph. so it def has more in it. congrats.

I have never drag raced before, so I am happy with it this far. Joe says it leaves lazy, he even pulled a small wheelie but it just doesn't want to move very fast off the trans brake. Todd is working on it!

No worries, with Joe and Todd... Within two weeks you will have a couple kits on it and be running Drag Radial with Joe... :rockwoot:

Congrats, that's awesome. It will for sure go 9's on motor with that MPH, probably just needs some gear or converter or both.
