Blew out my 10 bolt in Oct of last year. Been sitting on the car most of the spring. Finally decided it was time to get it going again. Found a replacement set of gears so I can at least drive the car while I continue to work on the 8.8 coversion that will eventually be going in.

Anyway, Scott stayed late the day I dropped the car off. Started driving the car to Scott's on Tuesday and the rearend noise got WAAAAAY worse so ended up getting it towed. Scott stayed late until we got there with the car. He had it turned around and ready to rock the next day. I just picked it up today (as it was supposed to be sunny) but the rain forced me to have to tow it home as my wipers are not working. But when I did drive it around the neighborhood the rear set-up is silent and working great. Can't wait to get back to driving & enjoying the car again.

Scott said my ring gear was missing at least 3 teeth. And he cleaned a bunch of metal out of the housing and replaced the bearings. A HUGE thank you for your patience and great service!

I will be definitely contacting you when I am ready to set up that 8.8 to go in the car. Will probably be going to Josh (Brown Dog Welding) for the welding, Kyle (Dynasty Powdercoating) to powdercoat the housing, and then you (Driveline Solutions) to finish the set-up.

Thanks again!

I wish I had the texts still from when Scott thought I was a bartender he just met. Freaking EPIC motown meet when that was going on.

 I can only imagine given the texts I got about him being up in my rearend and lubing it, etc, etc, etc.

Yep he did a gear swap for me this spring. Easy to work with, did great work, and my Detroit Locker feels 1000% better than it did before.

Update, I finally got some mileage on it. Took it to Hot Rod Power Tour kickoff last Sat at the GM Milford Proving Grounds. Silent and drove great! Still getting the break-in miles on it so no hard driving yet.

Thanks Scott!

Your welcome Tony, I'm sure you can run it through the gears by now.
