how to find out who owns a cell phone number??

Long story short, I am receiving a bunch of BS texts from a cell phone number. I know who is physically in possession of the phone, but I am under the belief that this is a company issued phone. It is a sprint #. Is there anyway to find this info out?

There are plenty of websites, but when you read the fine print there is no guarantee that they have the phone number owners info....at which point you have to request a refund of the $14.95 fee.

Don't waste your time. Block the number.

Unfortunately this combined with other actions have pushed it past the level of ignoring and into a PPO. I just figure it will have more bite if I put Ford on notice as well since I am pretty sure its a ford issued cell phone that is being used in this (Senior level program engineer).

What's the number? (PM if you want.) I'll look it up in the corporate directory tomorrow.

I seriously appreciate everyone's help on this. Scooter verified that the 313-805-xxxx #'s are phones issued and paid for by Ford. I did not disclose the full number to him though because at this point I am not sure if the Ford Employee is sending the messages or his wife is getting a hold of his phone and sending them (He is the Ford Employee who the phone is issued to). I will file the PPO on the individual and send a Notice/ Cease and Desist letter to Ford since it is a Ford Asset which is being used. Hopefully the annoying text messages and communications will stop.

As much as I would love to turn this into a Jerry Springer episode, I am just going to handle it the right way and hope that this will put an end to it.

Wow. I cannot imagine a Ford employee being so stupid as to use a company issued phone to harass someone.
Buy a prepaid phone if you insist on being a dickbag.

if you do get to the point of disclosing the entire number, may I have it as well? and yup, (313)805-xxxx are ford numbers

Before you turn him in, can you find out if he can re-flash the computer in my Mustang first? I keep getting a bogus 02 sensor MIL.

Yea doing it from your company cell has to rank in the top of stupid things to do... Buuut I have a 378 number so I guess I'm good! Sending text and pictures to Oldbutnew right now:booty:

That craiglist stuff can get you in more trouble than it's worth if they track it back to you.

I see this guy loosing his phone or at least getting a new one with a new number from the company and a letter saying the number calling you is a spoofed number and not that person.

You would think that someone smart enough to be a Senior-level Program Engineer would be smart enough not to harass someone with their company phone. That is like watching fetish porn on your work computer! :spank:
