How to deal with overbearing City Ordnance person?

I wanted to let him know that the judge himself did not care about about me having a trailer. Also when I got the ticket attached to the trailer, it had a copy of the law attached to it. It says vehicles have to be completely behind the front of the house. Down my street there is a camper and a boat that have been not moved for YEARS on the side of some peoples garages that stick out. I mentioned this to him and he says he is going to get on it.

Guy is a dick, he needs to find something better to do!

You sold your neighbors out? The judge asked if you moved it, so it seems he did care.

I understand it sucks getting hassled by the township. My dad went through the same thing.

The guy is just doing his job, and by the the sounds of it he is busting his ass.

Unless you petition to change the ordnance your not going to win. I suggest if you don't like the ordnance move to a location that allows what you want to do. You cant beat then at their game.
Code enforcement is just doing their job.
If you think getting a ticket is excessive harassment I could spend a hour telling you story's I had with inspectors. Building department & city attorneys office had multiple meetings... Building department had blown up huge pictures of my property looking for any changes on structures.... had them hanging on the wall in their city office. I was on their daily drive by, pull in the drive way, get out of the car & walk around the perimeter list. They could not find nothing wrong, but they tried like hell. Inside intelligence told me it was common for the city I lived in to pay ATT to mount a camera on a pole and just record activity 24/7. With evidence from the camera they could obtain a warrant.
Even now with owning a building in a light industrial area inspectors drive by weekly (they were here two days ago).... looking for any violation of the city's charter.
These days its revenue for their department and essential to their survival, so don't expect them to back off. If you make waves they all will be talking about you in the building department and will keep a extra eye on your house.... just because you asked.

Yea, I hate to say it but you may have fucked yourself with that stab at him. Conversely you could have more lax codes like my area and your hoarder neighbor could have a rv parked either in his front yard, In the street or next to his house every couple days just so it looks like it's not permenant... He finally got a few tickets before the winter but that was only after the 4 boats, 2 goats and chickens had been in the front yard for 6 months or so.

I didnt mind the goats but the boat/RV, vehicle being out of the street was much nicer.
