How Do You Mourn ?

Today we had a memorial dinner for a very dear friend.

It's been days now and I can't get him out of my mind. I can't stop thinking about the hours we sat next the camp fire in Saugatuck talking about life or the fond memories sitting on his piano bench while he played Beethoven sonatas.

To the man who's smile I will never forget and who's laughter will always reverberate, I pray you are in a better place.

We'll never forget you.

I'm very sorry for your loss.

I'm still getting over my Grandfather's death from earlier this year in March. My best advice is just to try and think of all the good times you shared with your friend, and think of how he would want to be remembered.

It's not easy, and there won't be a day that goes by that you won't think of him, but it does get a little easier with each passing day.

Regards,

Bill

Time will heal. The best thing you can do is always remember all the good times you had. Remember he is in a better place.

Sorry to hear that.

In my family, we have a get together usually after the funeral, and some drink in rememberance, some talk about good times.
