How can I ship my trans to South Carolina?

Packaged it will be over the 150 lb weight limit that fedex/ups has so I need to go freight with it.

How much will this cost? The buyer is paying shipping and he wants it as soon as possible but I told him I wouldn't have him send me any money until I found out if this thing would be reasonable to ship otherwise it's no longer a great deal for the guy.

What freight companies can do this? He has a business address and I can drop the thing off anywhere.

Thanks in advance,
Sean

Use Forward Air in Romulus, they charge by the hundred weight, I looked in my book its depending where it's going in SC it's 21-23.00 per one hundred lbs. 734-946-4779.

Greyhound, seriously, Greyhound

Absolutely. If that doesn't work out give Rossler or RPM a jingle and ask who to use for shipping. I'm sure they can give you the 411.

Forward air is under a hundo that's perfect THANKS!!!!! Only 2 days to get there too and the airport is only 10 miles from the guy's house...MINT!

PM TaJack. I had him pick up a set of wheels and tires for me in Jersey this spring. If he is anywhere near your trans destination, he would probably swing it by (for $$ of course). At least with Jack you wouldn't have to worry about it getting there in one piece.

My last trans only made it 90% of the way before they dropped it off a truck...but it was insured so it worked out good for me, bad for the guy buying it who had to then pay more for something else because mine was a good deal.
