House Siding Referrals

Ok so I sat down Tuesday and called a bunch of companies.

Starting to get some responses.

Today 3G came out (recommended above).
They were $5 grand more than than 2 other quotes. When I politely asked why so high he gave me a some speel and I said the other quotes I have were 5k less. He immediately offered a few grand off the quote he just gave me. Also was very persistent about wanting to know who were the other quotes from.... Nope buhbye...
 
Everything is insane right now - hard to get anyone, really, and for some reason, siders seem to be especially tough.
 
Last year I had Spectrum Construction do my house (roof, soffit work, siding and gutters). I was happy with the work and the price.

I initially wasted my time trying Hire It Done...... Only one contractor even came out to look at the job and never even quoted it.
 
I recently found a painter on Yelp. They did a 3/4 half-ass job painting the trim on my house. But at least they showed up!

I do painting interior and exterior Genesee and Oakland county if anybody needs a painter 25 years experience. All trades are very busy right now. I've done a few jobs for guys on here and have gotten referrals from them. 810-444-6441 Gary

I have 1 more quote coming on Tuesday.
Have called 7 companies and have 4 current quotes then waiting on the last Tues. 2 never called back at all. They are all over the map so far.
 
Anyone on the east side have a recommendation for garage ceiling drywall? My ceiling is 15' in the center but I have a scaffold they can use.
