So my brother had never been to one and asked if I would go with him today. I said sure why not. I'm glad I went.
After a phone call from another GTO owner I found these:

These guys came to the US specifically to do the Hot Rod Power Tour. I'll ask them tomorrow what they had to go through in order to get their cars here.
I'll get more pictures posted of other cars tomorrow.

Very nice! I really like the wheels on the white and blue ones. They have all the cool stuff overseas. That's one of their versions of the Pontiac G8 isn't it? I'm probably wrong though, lol.

I didn't know anyone else on here was going. Hell, my truck was parked right at the entrance to that lot. I wanted to give my card to somone and let them collect the stuff but I didn't have anyone to give it too. I registered as long haul even though we only did a couple stops because the money difference was small, you get more stuff, and you cna't pre-register for the individual places so it was way easier to do it that way. I've got a bunch of pics coming tonight. We caught the Holdens along the route even.

I wasn't sure I was going to make the trip to Springfield. Most people that said they'd cruise with me flaked out. My brother called me a the last minute saying he wanted to go because he'd never done the tour before. So I drove up yesterday.
I went to DuQuoin today with one of the local (St. Louis) GTO owners. Took a bunch of pictures, but I haven't gotten them moved over yet. I'll get that done tomorrow.

Here are a few from DuQuoin, IL.

The Chevy II Novas have always been popular but I have been seeing some awesome ones around lately. I don't know if they are becoming more popular or if cooler ones just started popping up more. It'd be sweet to take the next step past the red one and do one like the Jack Ass Camaro that Reiter worked on.
