nuttsgt Forum Member Aug 9, 2010 #4 I've seen a few links to the BBC version, it never impressed me. Everytime I watched it, it reminded me of car/driver or road/track magazine. If you want a car show to make it, you need to have a car guy host it not comedians.

joestang Club Member Aug 10, 2010 #6 Guys look kind of dorky, and maybe I am just partial but I dont mind the comedic factor in BBC Top Gear. I dont like how they rip american cars all the time, but their challenges are almost always funny.

joestang Club Member Aug 10, 2010 #8 Oh they usually do it in jest, and if you cant make fun of yourself thats pretty lame. I really like how they throw challenges together, really inventive stuff. The one on the USA Top Gear appeared to be a pretty lame attempt.
