Get one and try it out and let us know how it works. I have been watching these for a while on ls1tech, but there aren't many takers there.

YOU F*:image_043 RICER!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a fan of the harwood hood on camaros. That guy from Midland with the red convertible (inkognigrow?) has one and it looks badass IMO.

You know, Dan, I noticed on your avatar pic that you are one of those damn hookers who put the black rear piece on your Camaro. (I don't know what the name for that actual piece is, but it's the one that goes in between your rear taillights)

1st off, let me say that I am very mad at you for that.
2nd, with that in mind, I have a feeling that you are going to leave the hood unpainted to "show off the CF." Please do not do that. If you insist on getting a CF hood, and you want to show the CF off, why not paint the entire hood white and leave that small triangular section in front of the ram air opening unpainted? (but still have it cleared and wet-sanded to make the line between paint and CF smooth) That way you can still keep a clean, ricer-free look, and also show off the CF.

Call Scuba for the paint work. The kid has skill and I'm sure he'll take care of you on price.

Better yet - paint it white and leave the scoop carbon fiber...

Like so!

I don't know, then it will almost look like those faggoty LUND stick-on hood scoops that you never see painted.

Sorry to all the ricers, but I hate RICERS. So no i'm not gonna leave the hood unpainted. At that price I don't know if I would even get one. Just seeing what kind of different hood are out there. Yes, Scuba is a great painter, but my lil' brother is also. I'm just sick of seeing the same hoods on every car, & want to see if theres any other ones that I havent seen yet.

OH THANK GOD!!!

Here is an idea...take the hood you have now, and cut a bunch of square and rounds holes in it with a jigsaw. You'll be one of a kind and you'll be able to help heat escape from the engine bay too. So it's original and functional. WIN WIN!!!!!!
