Ok firstly lets spare me the cute comments with gun manufacturers as security systems. I'm asking about alarm companies. I'm considering Brinks or ADT.

Thanks For Any Input

brinks, havent had any issues, we have had a few false alarms and ther epretty quick to call and see if anything is wrong

I've had both ADT and Brinks. Imo it's basically the same and I'd go with who would give the better deal. :dontknow:

Alarm monitoring companies are a huge waste of $. If anything, get your place set up with an audible intrusion alarm along with some good smoke detectors.

Sent you a PM...

I had three companies give me estimates. The first was ADT. They wanted to install a wireless system and it wasn't cheap to do everything I wanted. I figured being wireless only saved them work on the install. Hard wiring is a much better solution. Guardian failed to show up. The third was a local company that put in a first alert system (Complete Protection Systems I think). Haven't had a problem or false alarm with it in five years and it is the cheapest monthly I have found too.
