FS: Home in St Clair Shores w/ oversized garage.

My wife and I decided to move further North and recently put our house up on the market.
Figured I'd post this here since the garage would likely appeal to gear heads as it did for me.

You won't find another garage like it in the area, over sized 22x28 with a full loft above it. It has forced air heat (natural gas), it's own central air unit, 220v electric, and an intercom system going into the house.

The home has a very open floor plan, huge updated kitchen and rear addition/living room with a great fireplace and built in shelving. It's a beautiful home and if I could pick it up and move it to the area we're looking at we'd certainly do so. It probably wouldn't suit a large family as it has two bedrooms. The master bedroom is quite large and is upstairs, the other is downstairs in the basement. We found the home was the perfect size for my wife and I and had room for occasional guests.

This is the listing from our realtor if you're interested:

For some reason all of the photos didn't attach to their site (specifically the overview of the garage) which I found to be available here:

Thanks for looking,

Jon

Thanks guys, haha no trades. We are closing on our new house in a month or so.

I'm hoping it will move fairly quickly, I feel it should given I spent significantly more for it when I bought it 5 years ago!

Justin, I'm not certain since I bought the house with the garage already built. When I insured the home I asked for additional coverage above the normal, I think it's insured for 35,000 right now. I know it would be difficult to build the same garage again in this area due to the local ordinances.

Kevin, I've never thrown any huge parties and most of the neighbors on this street are fairly quiet. The man next door is in his 80's however somewhat hard of hearing, so he might never notice :P

So... I'm bringing this back to the top again...

The house was sold however two days before close our buyers financing fell through. So the house has been re-listed. If anyone is interested there is an open house going on this Sunday (Dec 2nd) between 1pm and 4pm.
