what a dumbass. if he made a 1/3 scale one, why not make a 1:1 scale one. and be able to drive the damn thing.
 
I bet you Ferrari will buy it for more than they sell their 1:1 for.

Thats some serious devotion.. but why didnt he get an Air craft radio, hook up the servo's to controls and make it R/C ?
 
Could you spend that many years on something and make it an R/C car? If you've owned an R/C car... they break... alot.

I agree. If he can make a 1:3, he can make a full size one. FTLOG, he already has the drawings and, apparently, the right equiment. One thing I disagree with, however, this guys is definately no dumbass.
