Questin for ya. If a seller has an item and it's described as $200 or best offer, Suppose you waited until the last minute and bid 50 bucks, would he have to sell it to you for that bid? There is no reserve.

You're not bidding on an auction so your $50.00 wouldn't do anything.
$200 is the fixed buy it now price, you can't 'bid' any lower but you can make a $50.00 'best offer' IF the seller accepts it becomes the new 'buy it now' price and the fixed price listing ends with you the winner.

PS.
Don't wait until the last minute cause the seller has to see and accept your offer or the item will end with no winners.

No, he would not let it go for $50. His buy it now price is $205 so he is asking for someone to make an offer if they do not want to spend $205. Then when you make the offer he can choose to accept or decline it.

offer him 175, he will probably ok that, but thats a buy-it-now auction, cand bid less than the BIN price.

I checked his old auctions he's turned down $150, $175 and $180.00
I don't know how much he will take but I bet he won't give much more than free S&H (if that)
