Greetings guys,
Bought a cheap winter ride for one of the kids...
I just purchased a 2006 Hyundai Tucson GLS with
122,000 miles, doesn't look like it's ever been in an
accident. The airbag light is on, had it checked by
a shop (not Hyundai) and their computer said;
"right front sensor".
I pulled the sensor and could see a very small amount
of corrosion on one of the connector terminals. I replaced
the sensor with a Hyundai sensor and the light is still on.
I have only run the car a few min. since, does it take more
time to re-set?
Do I need the airbag system re-set by a shop computer or
should my car re-set the airbag light by itself (once the
problem is fixed)?
Is the next step to replace the wire connector to the sensor?
HELP please......as usual, I'm at a loss here :lol:
