I have a favor to ask of you guys/gals.

This gentleman I've known forever got into a motorcycle accident shortly after graduating high school. He ended up paralyzed and has struggled since. I noticed one thing he's been doing yearly is a special Olympics thing and it makes him pretty happy. He's been trying to get a hand cycle for the past couple years, and with a go fund me account has only raised about $200 so far. He's a good guy that could really use the help.

Even if you could donate a couple bucks that would help tremendously.

Do you have a hand cycle picked out? A friend of mine races one and she may know somewhere to find a good used one.
 
I don't have the exact details on what one he has picked out, but I am sure he would appreciate it if someone could locate a used one for much cheaper. Let me know if she knows of one!
 
I would send his story over to the Chive as well. They do a lot of great charity work at the end of the day and at the very least may be able to get a few more eyes on making his dream a reality.
