Help me identify motor and balance

One of the motors I got has EAOE on the block and D1OE on the rods and 2MAE on the crank also looks like 50 or 5C on the crank. I believe it to be a 1980 motor with 1971 rods and a newer 50 oz crank ? No markings on the pistons they are flat-top with 4 valve reliefs. Sound right ?

Sounds like a Michigan motor exchange rebuild engine......I had one In a old Ford pick up that was hodge podge but It ran good untill #7 piston came apart. Does the engine run ?....and how well ?

I just got it with the donor car I bought it was on a stand in guy's garage. It was (supposedly) gone through at Gonyea's a few years ago but hasn't been run. It still has assembly lube on the internals when I pulled the pan. Everything looks new ... i'm just wondering if they would have put a newer crank in a older block with even older rods. If I am decipering all the codes right.

Keep in mind that Ford didnt change thier part numbers all the time, that part number stayed on that part until it changed. So even though the rods were designed in 71 they could have been used intil 93. In my opinion you have a 50oz 302, is is a roller block or non roller?

Yeah I get that they used the parts till the next change so E7 parts could be on a 93 but the block and rods just seem way older than the crank based on codes. Non roller block.

Huh thats odd do you know the part numbers on the rods they used in the newer 302's?
