I need a head gasket atleast .090" thick and its not the easiest task just ordering those, also if I were to get copper gaskets is it a must to have an o-ringed block? And if its not needed my next question is this, on summit's site they have 2 sets of gaskets with the same exact part number, but yet one says its for a yates style head, but those are readily available and the regular ones won't ship until august 30th can I use the ones that are for yates? I rather use a mls gasket but they don't have any on there site that thick...I'm running victor jrs, here are the links, I need this done ASAP

I would get in contact with the gasket Manufacturer and see what they say. Odd they are same part number. You will need it o-ringed.

Not sure if it matters but I used a Felpro 1133 with Vic jr's and that is a gasket required for a Yates C3 or D3 head, I have a brand new set but they are only .041 thick

0.90".thick? Damn.

Yeah, ptvc is my issue, the head and cam in this thing ain't normal, the combustion chamber is at the bare minimum that combined with a .800 lift cam...the last time this motor ran it had .100" thick gasket on it....

Hmmm and no problems at all?

Cometic makes stuff up to .150 thick and you should be able find one. call local race shops not jegs or summit. Or you can stack head gaskets, I've done it will the felpros and just copper tacked in-between them. Never had any issues.

They make steel shims as well if you can find some

Not saying who but a racer came to me looking for .90... Same shit... All .90 needs to be special order customer build by everyone... Unless someone has them in stock...

I was gonna suggest stacking them also.

Try Tom Kraft, might get lucky.

no way you can notch the pistons for clearance? if you only need a .090 gasket, it wouldnt take much notch for the valve to clear

I have tried tom, jegs, summit, they said special order, I thought about stacking, just makes me nervous, the motor is together already and I don't really wanna notch the pistons.....a .100" gasket would work, is that more common?

Call race shops, They stock shit like this cuz they build engines. Stop calling performance parts places no one will have off the wall stuff in stock. Call morans shop, Gregs cylinder head, livernois, victory, warren engine builders, race car specialties, champion etc....

PARE, Fasttime, holbrook to name a few more. Sometimes you can get lucky and they'll have some for a build and will sell them to you and then they can order new ones and replace them cuz the motors far enough out from being done for the customer..
