Anyone in here one?

I currently work for a company on diesel equipment without any T certs (I am a ASE and State Master for Auto). I am scheduled to take the following in mid November:

T2 Diesel Engine
T4 Brakes
T5 Suspension and Steering

Anyone have these? If so can you offer any pointers?

I am also interested in people who wrench at dealerships. Do you like your job? What are the pro's and cons?

Thanks,

The last 3 times have been at Washtenaw Community College (Ypsi)

This is from the ASE website (www.asecert.org)

"The registration deadline for the ASE Fall 2006 tests has been extended. Late registration requests will be accepted online through Saturday, October 7, 2006"

Where are you taking them at?

Is this because of the poor car sales?

The class 8 truck business is insane right now. But will be hit next year.

Well good luck with them. I only have 3 and they have me coming in on 2 seperate days... Kinda sucks when you travel for work....can't plan anything all week!

yeah its a hell of a lot split between only 2 days, most on the 9th and the rest on the 14th, id like to just get em all out of the way at once

I took all 8 at one time. well two nights. But they had things screwed up and I had all the long tests one night. I had like 60 questions more than the recommended max.
I finished both nights in about 1.5 hours.
Want to take L1 and some truck stuff soon but I have forgotten so much stuff while at ford

I will most likely take L1 in the spring. Are you still at Ford?

I heard a ad on the radio for MotorCity trucks on schoolcraft rd in Livonia, claiming you can make 60 G's a year.

I do all my master recerts in one evening, and it drains me pretty good (I'm a terrible test taker). Good thing I only have to do it every 5 years.
