I agree it is very bad. What is the legality of undercover cops riding in unmarked cars?
Almost every driver I see has a phone in their hand now. I have been guilty of it as well so I can't say too much shit; Im happy to see this though.
I saw a lady sit through an entire turn signal on the way to work last week, when I drove by, she was still looking down at her phone. People need to start using their horn more often.
I was travelling at 50 MPH (the speed limit) through an intersection today and got cut off by someone making a right turn (they had a red light). She pulled out in front of me and was going 10-20 MPH if that. I slammed the brakes and had to swerve into the left turn lane to avoid rear ending her then I passed her. She was on her phone.
Seriously, I understand checking your phone here and there but anymore than a glance is too much.
I'm glad to see everyone agrees...Although I don't think it will really change much.
Example...
I had asked the local police department a while back to come sit down the street.
There are grade schools on each side of the corner, or public and one private. Stop sign at one end and a traffic light at the other.
People in the neighborhood never stop for the sign, I've even had people pass me because I was stopped at the stop sign.
The Chief of Police said that there isn't much they can do, they have a lot of ground to cover.
If they sit there they'll get a few people but as soon as they leave it's a free for all again.

Very surprised he said this. If a department makes an enforcement effort,
even 2 days a month (vary dates) in one area, it changes how drivers think
and treat that area, normally for the better.
I love my tinted windows.
